GRADER WITH MORE TECHNOLOGY FOR YOUR OPERATION
New Holland’s B Series EVO graders are equipped with the Go Home device, which automatically detects faults that may limit or prevent the proper functioning of the TCU (Transmission Control Unit).
The Go Home system allows engagement of only one gear in each direction and within the appropriate speed limit for that gear specifically. This way, it prevents the machine from being stopped in an inappropriate location when necessary.
ROBUSTNESS AND HIGH POWER IN THE NEW HOLLAND GRADER
The axles of the New Holland B Series EVO graders are designed to ensure robustness and greater power transfer capacity to the ground.
The front axle is constructed from welded steel with high-strength cast parts. The grader offers a wide and constant ground clearance of 580 mm across its entire length, thanks to its straight geometry.
The lateral tilt of the wheels, at 20º to the right or left, along with a 15-degree oscillation to each side, allows it to adapt to the irregularities of the terrain.
The rear axle of the grader, equipped with an anti-slip system, is made of cast iron, and the tandem structure is constructed with a welded rectangular profile in steel plates.
Both axles are designed to withstand the most severe loads that the machine needs to perform.
INCREASED SAFETY IN BRAKING SYSTEMS
The New Holland B Series EVO graders feature two circuits in their braking system, one for each tandem. The brakes are multi-disc, oil bath, self-adjusting, and designed for long service life.
The service brakes are hydraulically servo-assisted and equipped with two nitrogen accumulators, one for each circuit.
This design allows the operator to brake the grader simply and effectively in the event of a hydraulic system failure or diesel engine shutdown.
STEERING CAPABILITY
The New Holland B Series EVO graders feature hydrostatic steering of the orbitrol type, powered by a gear pump. The steering angle of the front wheels is 42 degrees to both sides. The chassis articulation is 25 degrees to the right or left, providing a turning radius of 7,700 mm.
The reduced turning radius of the grader allows the operator to perform work in confined spaces more easily.
Thus, operations in curves can be completed in less time. Additionally, the auxiliary handle on the steering wheel enables greater agility in maneuvering.
INTELLIGENT HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
The hydraulic system of the New Holland B Series EVO graders is Load and Flow Sensing type. The pump only provides flow when the operator activates one of the control levers.
When there is no hydraulic demand, the device consumes minimal engine power, and the hydraulic system operates at a cooler temperature, reducing fuel consumption.
The graders are equipped with a closed-center hydraulic distributor with nine circuit sections, located in a protected area below the operator's platform.
This design allows for the installation of new attachments without the need to add hydraulic sections to the distributor.
